In 2003 he graduated in screenwriting and dramaturgy at FAMU. He participated in the theme and screenplay for the film Restart and the TV series Comeback. After working in the bands Já a brácha and Jupí Tralala, he has been performing solo or accompanied by other musicians under the pseudonym Xindl X since 2007.
In 2007, he won with the song Mamut in the Česko hledá písničku (Czech Republic is looking for a song) contest, a year later with the song Dysgrafik, he won the Porta author's competition and also won in the songwriting category at the Zahrada festival.
To date, he has released the studio albums Návod ke čtení manuálu (2008), Praxe Relativity (2010), Láska (2012), Čecháček Made (2014), Kvadratura záchranného kruhu (2016), Sexy Exity (2018), Terapie (2021) and Fén X (2024). During this time, he played over 1,000 concerts, received 10 nominations for the Anděl music awards, became the jumper of the year in the Český Slavík competition, and for several years has been one of the most played performers on Czech Radio. In addition to music, he is also interested in theater and literature. His songs have been featured in several Czech films and series.
