Mirek Pátek
Campanella fretting shapes for high G ukulele
If you want to fingerpick the chord arpeggio, your fretting hand just grabs the chord shape and picking hand plays individual strings with some picking pattern. The same approach can be used for impressive fingerpicking of scale patterns in campanella style, if you know their shapes - you won't find them on the internet. This workshop is a unique opportunity to learn basic campanella shapes held by three fingers of your left hand, how to use them up-and-down the fretboard, and how to enrich them further with your left pinky.

Blues Scale, Riffs and Rhythm
Are you ready to start picking? Step out and take a cool solo ride in the middle of a song? We will show you a moveable blues scale, break it down into riffs, and then go to town soloing over the 12- bar blues in small groups - AND then (for the brave at heart) at the end of the class, several will showcase what they’ve learned in front of everyone! This is a very laid-back way to learn improvisation, and everyone will walk away having played a blues solo break!
