The uKúže band began to form from the ranks of the Únětice women's group already in 2015. After the third Czech Ukulele Festival, four women began to learn to play the soprano ukulele. In 2016, Ben invited them to show the big ukulele family that, apart from Hawaii, Unetice has the largest percentage of the population in the world who play the ukulele. Since then, there have been many festivals where uKúže has appeared. Over the years, they enriched the band with the bass uke, then guitar, violin, djembe, cajon, banjolele and saxophone. Thanks to this, they gained more singers, new ideas and experiences. So uKúže started performing outside of Únětice, in a wine shop, in some famous Dejvice clubs and pubs.
