Marcela is a Prague-based ukulele player, singer, and renowned instructor of ukulele courses for beginners and intermediate players, children, adults, the general public, and teachers. She performs concerts and leads workshops across the country and abroad, and occasionally promotes the ukulele in Prague jazz clubs through jam sessions. Her repertoire primarily consists of distinctive interpretations of jazz and Latin standards, enriched with vocal improvisation and impressive imitations of the trumpet or trombone. Marcela contributes to the organization of the Czech Ukulele Festival, collaborates with the Czech Ukulele Institute, and played a key role in the creation of the Czech ukulele textbook Ukulele krok za krokem (Ukulele Step by Step) by Ben Anderson.
