The world of The Tiger Lillies is dark, peculiar and varied, with moments of deep sadness, cruel black humour and immense beauty. This unique "anarchic Brechtian street opera trio" tours the world playing songs about “anything that doesn’t involve beautiful blonde girls and boys running at the meadow” to quote their founder Martyn Jacques. 

The Tiger Lilies were founded in 1989 in London, and have performed all of the world with their concert sets and also theatrical shows such as Struwwelpeter, and have taken part in many musical collaborations on the cutting edge of music and theatre. They have performed many times in the Czech Republic since 1993. This performance will be their first and last and only performance on the ukulele.
